Description

Details

The Whippet is a very over-stable driver used for medium long left hooking shots. It holds a line extremely well even when thrown into stiff headwinds. Great for specialty shots like overheads, spike hyzers, forehand rollers, hook thumbers and skip shots. Designed to handle the power of professional level players. Factory Seconds give you the opportunity to purchase blemished discs at a discounted price. Factory Seconds are cosmetically flawed discs that did not meet our quality standards for regular production. The flaws do not affect flight characteristics or durability of the disc. The flaws can be one or more of the following: misprinted stamp, bubbles in the rim, or specks in the material. Factory Second orders are subject to availability.

A overstable midrange disc. Needed by all players IMO. Such fantastic skips come from no other disc. Love star plastic so the discount doublestamp is a huge chance to improve your game and have a disc that will last/gain value. (Posted on 4/10/2016)

  2. A Less Glidey Viper Review by Michael

These discs have some of the domiest flight plates that I can recall on any type of disc. I have found something that finishes distance-wise between a Gator and a Firebird. I thought that maybe that this might be too much but with some field testing, I started to get the hang of throwing this little beast. The Whippet is just like a less glidey Viper. This disc is great for:

    1) Spike Hyzers
    2) Avoiding right OB (RHBH)
    3) Trusty Finish
    4) Potential tight hallway shots, this disc fights through the branches and remains unscathed
    5) Pretty decent skip distance for those dogleg shots you want to go a certain distance and skip finish at the end
    6) Anny flex shots
    7) 200-300 foot shots

If you need a disc to finish, get one of these for your bag and you won't be disappointed. (Posted on 4/6/2016)

  3. Stable, but no meathook Review by Nate

There is just something about the shape of this disc. You can tell it is old school but perhaps the perfect blend between a mid-range and a fairway driver. Maybe my game is finally ready for a stable disc, I had wonderful results with my first trial of this disc today. Overstable distance drivers tend to be too much disc for me but the whippet seems to be the perfect stability and speed for under 250ft. If you tend to throw under stable plastic the whippet is the perfect disc to add some stability to your game. (Posted on 11/14/2015)

If you throw RHBH like I do, this will be your go to disc for shots curving left around obstacles. It may not be the best for huge distance, but you know what kind of flight you're going to get when you reach for the Whippet. (Posted on 9/29/2015)

This disc flies true and is predictable. If you are looking for a disc to fly around obstacles and get a healthy skip then this one will do. This disc performs great for the forehand and overhead disc golfer. (Posted on 7/15/2015)

Mine came in blue with a double stamp that looks nice. It has a large dome and the star plastic feels great. I am interested to see how it breaks in over time. A great overstable fairway driver. moves like a slower Firebird. Great compliment to my sparkle Teebird. (Posted on 11/5/2014)
