Control Fairway Review by Josh
Quality Value Price Service Mine were relatively flat with very little dome.
i'd say it's got a little HST, I'd rate it 6|4|-.5|2
Ripping them hard and flat they turn a little but finish with a light fade to the left. Great control fairway (Posted on 8/16/2014) -
Decent disc, not what it could have been. Review by Will
Quality Value Price Service The star gazelles have an extreme dome that's unpleasant to the eye because it lacks a natural curve to it like more domed discs, and the higher profile makes it prone to flutter from off axis torque, something that has never been a trait of gazelles.
Personal preferences aside, the dome gives the star gazelle a great late flate glide, and my example flies slightly less stable than my KC, CFR, or DX(when new) gazelles. For a 175 gram disc, it behaves much like my 150g 11x KC Pro Gazelle, which is by no means an understable disc, but is much easier to flatten from a hyzer where the heavier gazelles prefer to be thrown flat. It is a good disc, but I prefer them board flat like the KC Pros, or with a nice continuous curve to the dome like a DX or CFR. (Posted on 5/30/2013) -
Domey Gazelle in a good run of Star Review by DryHorse
Price Value Quality For 17.99 on a special limited run disc, the price is well worth what I got. The Gazelle was my first disc ever, and I ordered 6 of this Star plastic run. I have a small collection of KC Pro Gazelles, and the domeyness of this Star run would match the most domey KC Pro Gazelle I have seen. Maybe even very slightly domier. The dome does not detract from the disc, and I've always wished Gazelles could be slightly more midrange-ish. The dome lowers the speed and helps this to better fill a spot between Rocs and T-birds for me. The plastic itself is a nice run of Star with good grip to it. It's a quality premium plastic Gazelle. Awesome Fairway Driver Review by Clay
Price Value Quality Having had little experience with Gazelles, I first bought a Pro version from the Factory Store, and was very impressed. I then ordered a Star version, and it instantly found a place in my bag. Flies like a Teebird, but with less effort to throw properly. It has a shade less fade than a Teebird, which makes it a great woods disc. Very easy to control. Very domey equals fantastic glide. PLEASE put this in regular production! (Posted on 5/9/2012)

Nice add to the bag! Review by Mitch
Quality Price Value Stable to overstable, in new condition the Star Gazelle does what I want it to do. Throw it hyzer, it stays hyzer. Throw it Anhyzer, it flattens nice with good glide with a predictable fade at the end. When this thing is broke in, I see a straight flying fairway driver, similar to a t-bird, but not quite as long. Quite domey, but feels good in the hand. Star plastic for a long life. Its in the bag!!! (Posted on 12/15/2011)

Good quality but domey Review by Jason
Quality Price Value I love the Gazelle, it's my favorite all-around disc. I have been looking for better quality plastic versions. I picked up a 175 gram Red (also a Pro plastic, see my review). The material is domey on top relative to other plastics which I don't prefer. The star plastic should last a long time. I wonder if the Echo plastic would be better and not so domey. I picked up a special edition Champion-Glo for the 2010 Carolina Clash last year, I still feel it's the best version so far (definitely the most stable) but maybe an Echo star could be better. Premium Gazelle Review by CyHyzer
Value Quality Price The Gazelle is a great stable/overstable driver that holds a straight line with a predictable fade. Go to disc for fairway shots and moderate headwinds with control and precision every throw and now it's in premium plastic for an awesome price! (Posted on 11/14/2011)

Exactly what I was after. Review by Joe
Value Quality Price Order shipped and recieved quicker than expected. Flight is what I expected from a gazelle. Maybe a little more stable than I recall but that could be form issues. The Star version was a little more domey than I remember the old 11x Gazelles that I 've owned, but that could be flawed memory as it has been a while since throwing a Gazelle. (Posted on 9/22/2011)
