Meathook Review by Ryan
Quality Value Price Service I bought a max weight Star Ape to try out, and it was not a disc for me. This disc is very overstable and if you can't get this up to speed it is going to be a useless disc for most. I am not much of a forehand player, but I could see where the Ape may be good for that purpose. Outside of utility/trick type shots, this was not a disc for me. (Posted on 12/31/2018)

Excellent disc for power arms/sidearm dominant players Review by Sean
Quality Value Price Service I ordered a 171 gram, Factory Second Star Ape, and was immediately blown away by the results. THE APE FLIES. If you're a seasoned discer, simply throw the Ape flat or on a touch of hyzer, and prepare for a lengthy drive (this disc can easily hit 450 feet) that shows beautiful accuracy. For forehand dominant players, the Ape flies similar to the Boss, but without the slight degree of turn. For newbies, I'd recommend staying away from the Ape until your arm is in the 300-400 foot range. But it can find a weaker arm's bag as a utility disc where immediate fade is required. I love the Ape to the point where I often reach for it over my trusted Destroyers. Buy one today! (Posted on 11/29/2016)
