R-Pro Wahoo

The Wahoo is a strange disc. The R-Pro plastic has a very, very hard feel to it, almost like that type of plastic you find in appliances, toys and the like. Extremely stiff, glossy with and almost hollow feel to it. This plastic does float but throw it anywhere near sharp rocks or trees and it will scuff and tear like no other Innova plastic.
It also has a very strange feeling in the hand. The rim feels wider than other 12 speed discs, and the dome certainly didn't fit well with me (it's not crazy big).
Is it worth getting a disc you only throw over water? I would say no. Why? Because you are in a way already thinking about what you should not be doing instead of committing to the shot.
Perhaps there are those who love it and even bag it for cross water shots but personally I'd rather have a plastic and mold I felt comfortable with.
Good idea, but just falls short of its objective (possibly into the water, the exact place you wanted to avoid). (Posted on 5/16/2017)
