Possibly one of the most underrated drivers Innova makes. Review by Nicolai
Quality Value Price Service The Pro Wraith - and Pro plastic in general - is one the unsung heroes of the Innova lineup.
This disc is looong. At my club I regularly (almost with ease) out distance others who pull out discs made of "premium plastic". Personally, I think it's the other way around: it's Pro plastic that is the premium (and certain colours especially - trade secret I'm afraid).
Yes, it does beat in faster than Star or Champion, but it out glide both of them and reaches its sweet spot faster (I play on grassy courses, with a mixture of wooded and open type holes). Getting a Star or Champion to the same sweeet spot would take.. a year, perhaps? Maybe longer. With Pro I'm there in weeks or a couple of months.
But the insane glide is just a bonus. What I really love is the grip. Certain Pro blends - you'll have to experiment here - just feel and grip like no other plastic does for me, and I can't see myself ever not bagging at least two to four molds of Pro discs (currently have six).
Also an excellent first distance driver, great for forehands, so buy them while you can. The sweet spot is around 170-172g. (Posted on 5/16/2017) -
Great distance driver Review by BirgerJaarli
Quality Value Price Service I love the pro wraith, the plastic is stickier than champion, and not quite as overstable. It is very straight for me, even though I have power only up to 375ft. When seasoned, it will turn over slightly and get you even more D. Oh, and did I mention that it will break in quite a bit faster than champion plastic :-). (Posted on 4/15/2017)
