I have only had experience with the Star variety of the Sidewinder, but it is a nice stable to understable flying disc. When it was brand new it was a real straight flier, and even had some decent fade at the end of the flight. As it was worked in it gained more and more turn, to the point it flies like a longer Leopard for me. It has some nice distance for me, getting it out around 400 ft. This is a nice entry level disc for someone looking to step up from slower fairway drivers. This is a nice roller disc as well. (Posted on 12/31/2018)

Something about the Sidewinder in star plastic irks me - champion sidewinders wear slowly - amazing for 350' line drives that fade slightly at the very end, and great for shots like that for many rounds. The Star plastic is good like for 2-4 rounds, then all of a sudden becomes a turnover disc without warning and never goes back. (Posted on 4/24/2012)
