Champion Aviar (FocusPad) Factory Second

Out of stock

The FocusPad can help players sharpen their focus on the all-important “feel” while putting. This is achieved with the strategically placed impression where your thumb rests on the flight plate of the disc. The FocusPad will intensify and draw attention to the exact moment the disc leaves your grip, allowing users to be fully conscious of when the launch occurs. This single point of focus acts as a bridge to connect both physical touch and mental imagery that can result in a precise awareness of where the disc is going.

These are Champion Aviar Putt and Approach discs with a single FocusPad. Each of these discs is a Factory Second.

We are asking our customers to email us their reviews of these discs. If the public response is positive we will likely release more discs with the FocusPad. Let us know what you think of these:

The Aviar Putt & Approach is our most popular disc model and the number one putter in disc golf. It is versatile and is dependable in all conditions. A must have disc for any serious competitor’s bag. Factory Seconds give you the opportunity to purchase blemished discs at a discounted price. Factory Seconds are cosmetically flawed discs that did not meet our quality standards for regular production. The flaws do not affect flight characteristics or durability of the disc. The flaws can be one or more of the following: misprinted stamp, bubbles in the rim, or specks in the material. Factory Second orders are subject to availability.

  1. Pretty sweet disc Review by gstevo46

I have used this disc for a few rounds and it seems to be as good or better than my dx putters. I thought the champ plastic might be to slippery, but I have been impressed with its grip. The focus pad is great for the putting, and I grab it anywhere else along the rim for the drives/approaches. Don't think it'll wear out in any one spot first, plus it's champ plastic so it'll take a lot of use before it wears at all. The disc is a little understable, not sure if the focus pad throws the weight off center. You just have to hyzer the drives a little, but the putts fly true and straight. Same as most putters.

I feel like I have had a better touch with this disc, making most of the puts that I normally do. Then, if I miss, I am missing by less and leaving it closer to the basket for the finishing put. This could all be in my mind, but I guess that's the idea of the focus pad anyways. If I think I'm gonna put better, I usually do. (Posted on 11/15/2012)
