The Thunderbird comes from strong bloodlines. The stability of a TeeBird with the speed of a Valkyrie; it can be described as a seasoned Firebird with less fade. The Thunderbird is predictable in wind and a great long range placement driver. Pros will appreciate the shot shaping ability of this driver while less experienced players will find a consistent, predictable flight. Madison stuck to her biological roots, creating a design reminiscent of science textbook diagrams. She lightheartedly chose a woodpecker as her stamp because while playing her favorite type of wooded disc golf, she jokes about those days that it seems your frisbees are better at pecking trees than they are at finding fairways. In this particular design, she created her own version of a "Thunderbird", inspired by the enigmatic and elusive Ivory-billed woodpecker, a bird some believe may be extinct. However, many hopeful people remain mesmerized by them, nicknaming them the "Elvis bird", as they are believed to be alive and well, hiding deep in the uninhabited corners of thick cypress swamps. One thing is for sure, even against all odds, these birds don't give up, and Madison thinks that is pretty cool.
