Best version of the Roc3 IMO. It is slightly more overstable out of the box and it flies with the same great glide. You can flip this disc if need be but the shot shaping this disc does as a mid is unreal. Get this disc. (Posted on 8/20/2016)

Loved this disc right away. Material is soft and solid to the touch and easy to grip. This holds such great lines, too. Exactly as described with excellent value. Can't say enough good things about these factory seconds. (Posted on 9/6/2015)

When I received this disc, I was in awe at vibrant red and its glossy finish. Paired with the fact that this disc is made up of 171 grams of the GStar plastic and its gummy goodness that fits comfortably in my hand (I have smaller hands). It is grippier than my Roc in Star plastic. As such, the GStar Roc3 is a great complement to my 180g Star Roc, in that it is thrown longer with less effort, especially at 171g. I should mention that my Roc3 had the exact same flight path as my Star Roc.

This disc is great for driving as well! I was able to fly this baby floating nice and straight, followed by a reliable yet slight hyzer fade (RHBH).

Overall, great disc for one disc rounds. Great plastic! (Posted on 7/4/2015)

  4. One of my Favorites Review by Dan

Lets just start by saying I'm a big fan of the G Star plastic in general. The grip, durability and looks are fantastic! Definitely my favorite plastic for everything other than putters.

The Roc3 is an amazing disc! I throw this disc an absolute ton for long mid range shots, approaches and it even putts decently too! One of my Favorite discs for sure.

The factory second I ordered had a few tiny white spec's that you could barley see. Also the nub on the center back of the disc looked like it was not cut well leaving the nub long and a small white circle around the nub. I trimmed this down with a razor blade it now it is like all my other discs. These defects did not affect the flight of the disc at all, as it fly's brilliantly!

I would not hesitate to order more of these!

  5. Like Butter! Review by frank

I'm not a Roc fan, mainly because I prefer small diameter discs but I'm so in love with the GStar plastic that I went ahead and gave the Roc3 a try.

I'm glad I did, disc is not only comfortable in the hand, the grip of the plastic gives you the confidence that you will release the disc exactly where you want but also this disc is just a smooth flyer.

I'm not overly strong with max distance about 350' or a little more so I'm not throwing the Roc3 for huge distance but it works perfectly as a buttery smooth mid-range. I threw it flat and it held a nice line the slowly hyzered out landing within a few feet of the pin.

You know how you pick up a disc and it feels just so comfortable in your hand? This Roc3 felt like that and even better, the throw matched exactly how I had pictured it in my mind.

As with my other GStars, I believe that if you throw a Roc3 in Star plastic this version will be less stable. (Posted on 8/4/2014)

  6. Like a star roc3 but gummier and more flexible. Review by Lawrence

the g-star roc3's I got (I ordered two) are actually flatter than my champ and star roc3s. But they have that typical roc flight. they're flexible to the point where you can feel the whole disc flex in your hand during warm weather, but in a good way, you can feel and grip the disc confidently.
