I bought this disc because a guy i work with swears by it, i brought it out to kit carson park in escondido first throw was off a little bit but this disc takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it you can smash this thing 350 400+ with minimal effort and a quick flick of the wrist. Great for side arm throws keep it low and it will fly for ever (Posted on 2/1/2016)

I bought this disc and liked it right away. When I ordered it, it was too over-stable for me, but it broke in as I used it more and more. Quality disc. (Posted on 6/7/2014)

I use this disc as my low flying FH throws. This disc does take a bit to get used to but is so consistent once you get it figured out. (Posted on 7/16/2013)

Once I found the trick to the release on this disc, I smiled. (RHSA) I also bought the GUMMY ChampValk and it was just like the one I lost, nice and 'broke in', but right out of the package!! Bravo to INNOVA for providing a well designed quality product at a great price, new or FS. (Posted on 11/30/2012)

I have two identical Grooves that I exclusively use for FH shots. Being left handed, this disc is incredible in giving me the ablility to throw shots that mirror a right hand BH. This is especially helpful when facing a dogleg to the left. Once you get the form needed to throw the Groove, it then becomes an amazing open area distance driver. Now that I have the form needed, I can easily throw the Groove close to 450-500 feet on a drive. Also becomes more understable as it ages. (Posted on 9/28/2012)

I throw forehand and this is the disc i grab when im on a hole that turns right. I know this disc will go far and turn right at the end. I play on a very wooded course and i have hit lots of trees with this disc and it is still flying great, (Posted on 5/21/2012)

Until I lost it my grove was my favorite disc. It was my first ac disc. It is good for back hand drives, but it really shines with forehand's. You will be able to have pin point accurate forehand drives and it will go for miles when it is beat in. (Posted on 3/26/2012)

This disc is amazing. I use it for all of my drives. The groove on the bottom gives me excellent grip, and I am able to throw the disc much farther than my other drivers. I lost one groove and immediately replaced it. Greatest disc I have ever used. (Posted on 2/23/2012)

  10. Good and bad Review by Jeffrey

I have two Groves and they are fantastic discs when they want to obey you, and not so great in other moments. The Groove goes VERY far but it can be a challenge getting used to. The problem with this disc is inconsistency: sometimes it goes straight with slight fade, other times it will shoot far out to the right and fade hard back left (RHBH throwers), and sometimes it will shoot far right without fading back to the left. You have to be careful on how your throw the Groove, however, for my sidearm throws (Right handed), it seems to be more consistent: flies with a gradual right curve, much like throwing an understable disc (RHBH). I don't know if you want to spend time getting the technique down to throw this disc more consistent, but it's a disc that will fly out of sight and gives the Boss direct competition.
