This disc got me driving with mostly blizzards. The lighter disc improved forehand distance by 50 to 100 ft. Due to the lightness of the disc, I can s-curve it almost every long drive. (Posted on 10/21/2014)

After playing only playing a heavily wooded course, I finally got to play a course with open fairways. I picked up this Boss and let one rip low to the deck and I thought I was going to overthrow the basket. This disc sails! I can't wait to order another one in a slightly heavier weight. My first disc I bought was a champion boss. I was slightly dissapointed because i could throw my putter almost as far. I learned I could cheat the system a little bit and throw it on an anhyzer and get more distance. Then i saw the blizzard champion. This disc flies. The light weight allows a weaker armed thrower to throw this disc how it's meant to be thrown, "like a boss". Excellent results from the blizzard champion boss, especially if you don't have the power to throw heavy weight discs.

It doesn't handle as well in a head wind, the high speed wind makes the disc think it's moving faster than it is and will cause the disc to turn over more than desired. (Posted on 11/1/2013)

I have the Champion Boss and like it well enough, but after I got the Ape in Blizzard plastic and loved it, I figured I should give the Boss a try in Blizzard. I am not disappointed.

I throw about 50/50 backhand/forehand, and this disc does great for either throw. It's predicable and goes forever.

There are disc golf snobs who mock Blizzard plastic because it's lighter or whatever, but if you just enjoy playing and want to throw your drives a little farther, then I'd recommend it.

One caveat: Because these come in lighter weights, they can be drastically affected by strong winds. You might want to sacrifice the distance for accuracy on a windy day, and keep this one in the bag.

Customer Service was great. Ordered on a Monday and got it on Wednesday via Priority Mail (California to Mississippi). (Posted on 10/7/2013)

This disc has well deserved its name. This is my go to driver when I need to bomb around a dogleg, or to fling a massive forehand shot. It's an all around driver, and that's why it's always in the front of my bag. (Posted on 8/20/2013)

Whenever I need to weave through some tree with a nice right hook, I turn to the Boss. I can get some wicked distance even with a Forehand. I'm hoping to try out a few more of the Blizzard drivers in the future! (Posted on 7/3/2013)

i just got mine in the mail, and it requires a lot of spin to throw, but once you get it going that's exactly what it does. its also more dome-y than i thought it was. (Posted on 5/20/2013)

I got a 145 that was extremely domey- I prefer flatter discs. This disc was so overstable I could barely throw it. Reminds me of a faster champ max. Could be due to the dome. I wanted something straighter. Still a quality disc just to overstable for me. (Posted on 11/27/2012)

  9. Take your drives, add 25 feet Review by Ryan

I have been playing for 5 years now, and thought I had topped my drives out. I was very wrong. The blizzard boss took my longest drive (with a 172g boss), and tacked an easy and very controllable 25 feet on the end. I was originally suspicious of Blizzard Champion, but now I am a firm believer. This stuff works, is as durable as normal champion plastic, and is such a value to increase your drive in such a controllable manner. (Posted on 8/24/2012)

When i was switching from forehand to back hand the blizzard boss gave me by far the most distance, now i can throw my longest throughs with this disc 430ft. Not good in strong winds but if you get a review one like i did 155g it still works well in moderate winds. (Posted on 8/3/2012)

I've thrown a couple different Blizzard Bosses (150-155g) and am impressed with the way they stand up and go in a headwind! Great high-speed stability and a nice predictable fade at the end. It managed to replace my well seasoned star destroyer with less effort involved. (Posted on 5/28/2012)

Purchased one of these along with a Blizzard Destroyer. Nice disc for us older players, but I much prefer how the Destroyer fits my hand. I am really looking forward to Innova giving the Blizzard treatment to other drivers. These things just feel great in the hand. (Posted on 5/8/2012)

Sweet lord this thing can fly! I bought this disc because I love my champion boss and wanted a little comparison. But it's no contest, I can throw the blizzard AT LEAST 75 feet further than the regular boss. I could not have asked for more out of this 150 gram masterpiece. I will use this on just about every drive that involves a soft hyzer or a normal hyzer. I still use the regular champion boss for the big hyzers, but nevertheless, this disc is a pure work of genius. 16. More distance, less stable Review by Andrew

The bubbles of the blizzard do add more distance. This disc is straighter for me than the regular champion Boss. It is less stable for sure. It's windy here in Oklahoma and it certainly isn't as wind resistance. The look of the disc is very close to what a new one would be, just a little messed up in the flight plate that is only cosmetic. Less stability makes it go 75-100 ft. further than my regular Boss. Neon pink with a nice bubble spread, these are natural beauty!! The light weight champion material feels super gummy. Lots of glide and speed, just like the R-Pro version... with the indesctuctabilty of the champion plastic. That is surely a must for every players! Thank you Innova!! (Posted on 1/25/2012)
